Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all moving, delivery, packing, storage, and related services (“Services”) provided by Wildrose Moving & Storage Calgary (“Wildrose Moving”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a service, paying a deposit, or allowing our crew to begin work, you (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Terms.

 

Booking, Estimates & Pricing

  • Hourly moves are billed from departure of our warehouse to return, unless otherwise stated.

  • Minimum charges may apply (time minimums, travel fees).

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Packing materials

    • Extra labour or additional trucks

  • Wildrose Moving reserves the right to adjust pricing if the scope of work differs from the information provided at booking.

 

Deposits, Payments & Cancellations

Deposits

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable but may be transferable at our discretion.

Cancellations

  • Cancelling within 48 hours of the scheduled start time may result in a cancellation fee equal to 2 hours of labour.

Payments

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the move.

  • Accepted payment methods: credit card, debit, e‑transfer, or cash..

  • Unpaid balances may incur late fees or collection actions.

 

Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the move.

  • Ensure safe access to all locations (parking, elevators, loading zones).

  • Secure valuables, cash, jewelry, firearms, and sensitive items before the crew arrives.

  • Pack items properly if you are doing your own packing..

Wildrose Moving is not responsible for items not packed securely by the customer.

 

Damage Policy

5.1 Furniture & Household Items

Wildrose Moving takes every precaution to protect your belongings. However:

  • We are not liable for damage to items that are:

    • Pre‑damaged

    • Poorly assembled

    • Made of particle board or fragile materials

    • Not packed properly by the customer

  • Maximum liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per item, unless upgraded coverage is purchased.

Inventory, Lost Items & Claims

  • Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the move.

  • Failure to report within this timeframe voids the claim.

 

Safety & Crew Rights

Our movers may refuse service if:

  • Conditions are unsafe

  • Items exceed safe lifting limits

  • Illegal or hazardous materials are present

  • The customer behaves aggressively or disrespectfully

Wildrose Moving maintains a zero‑tolerance policy for harassment or unsafe environments.

 

Liability Limits

Wildrose Moving & Storage provides Released Value Protection at $0.60 per pound per item. This is the maximum coverage unless the customer upgrades to Full Value Protection before the move.

  • Standard Coverage: $0.60 per lb per item.

  • Optional Upgrade: Full Value Protection (repair, replace, or reimburse at Wildrose’s discretion).

  • High‑Value Items: Must be declared in writing; undeclared items default to standard coverage.

  • Exclusions: Fragile items not packed by Wildrose, particle‑board furniture, plants, perishables, cash, jewelry, collectibles, and pre‑existing damage.

  • No Liability For: Weather delays, road conditions.

  • Claims: Must be submitted in writing within 7 days.

By booking with us, you consent to:
